Details and TicketsFor as long as I can remember, I have been writing music of some form or another. Ever since I heard Bill Joel’s “Piano Man” and was transported to a “hole in the wall” bar in New York City, I’ve wanted to create something that did for others what that song did for me. I started learning piano at the age of 6 and guitar at the age of 8 and immediately started to experiment with chords and chord transitions.
I played in musical groups all throughout Junior High, High School, College and in to my late twenties, where I was the primary songwriter in each group I was
in.
In 1990, I moved to Vancouver to study Recording Arts majoring in Sound Engineering and Music Production, and Vancouver Community College to study music composition.
Although music took a back seat to family commitments over the last many years, my passion has always been songwriting. I am currently working on recording my upcoming CD called “Solving the Happiness Equation”.
